Born and raised in Yorkshire, England. Somehow ended up moving to the other side of the world. Twice.
In early 2005, I moved to Vancouver, Canada. Tired of disposable cameras and surrounded by a strange new land, I decided to invest in a fairly cheap compact digical camera to capture the experience. Since then, I've tried to keep a camera on me at all times.
I moved back to the UK. That first "proper" camera went to the big mexapixel in the sky, and I stepped up to a Nikon D40 in '07, closely followed by a Nikon D80 in '08. Then came film. In 2009 I joined Flickr and added a Nikon FE2 and a Lomo LCA+ to my bag. 2010 brought with it a Canon S95 as well as a Nikon FM2. I'm sure there'll be more as time goes by.
Fast forward to 2011 and I found myself living across the pond once more - in Illinois no less. In 2014 I relocated to Texas, where I'm currently the in-house photographer/communications specialist for a regional airline. It's a funny old world.
